Kenny Pieper is a full time studio artist who resides in the mountains of North Carolina. He has been blowing glass since 1976. He received training from Penland School of Crafts, Penland, NC, the Center for Creative Studies, College of Art and Design, Detriot, MI, and a B.F.A. from California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, CA. He has exhibited internationally and is featured in the permanent collections of the Corning Glass Museum (NY), the Asheville Art Museum (NC), the Hickory Museum of Art (NC),the New Orleans Museum of Art (LA), as well as numerous private collections.
