The Bakersville Creekwalk Arts Festival is awarding $2000 for a piece of functional sculpture to be displayed, with an information plaque about artist, on the Bakersville Creekwalk. The North Carolina Arts Council has awarded a grant to Gates County High School to contract with an artist to create a permanent public artwork or art enhancement in the school facility or on campus as part of our SPARC (School/Public Art Collaboration Projects).
